Andy Sherman is an experienced legal executive currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Dolby Laboratories since January 2011. In this role, Andy oversees Dolby’s patent and intellectual property licensing businesses, government relations, and global legal affairs, encompassing corporate, regulatory, intellectual property, litigation, and licensing activities. Additionally, Andy chairs the board of directors of Via Licensing, a prominent provider of multilateral patent licensing solutions. Prior to joining Dolby, Andy held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at CBS Interactive from 2008 to 2011.
