Armelle van den Burg is a dedicated professional in the field of psychology, specializing in child and adolescent mental health. Currently serving as Psycholoog Kind & Jeugd at Dokter Bosman since February 2020, Armelle focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 experiencing a wide range of issues. Prior experience includes roles as a Jeugd- en gezinsbeschermer at De Jeugd- & Gezinsbeschermers, where Armelle managed interventions for at-risk minors and complex families, and as a Sociotherapeut at GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord / Triversum, assisting children and adolescents with diverse psychiatric needs. Academic contributions encompass work as a Junior Onderzoeker on projects related to juvenile justice and as a student assistant at Leiden University, supporting research on victim representation in law enforcement.
