Orhan Metin, born in Istanbul in 1948, graduated from Istanbul Technical University, which he entered after Istanbul Boys' High School, in 1973 as a Metallurgical Engineer.

After his internships at Peine-Salzgitter and Thyssen Edelstahlwerke facilities in Germany, he worked at Erkunt Döküm ve Makine facilities in Ankara in 1975. After completing his military service, he started to work on April 07, 1977, in Parsan MakinaParları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. He worked in the Quality Department for 6 years and then in the International Marketing Department for 32 years.

He started to serve as a consultant to the company he retired at the beginning of 2015. At the same time, he is the Founding President of the Tattoo Industrialists' Association.
