Matthew Vogel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and renewable energy. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Alternatif Investments since January 2009, Matthew Vogel specializes in the development of renewable projects across wind, solar, geothermal, and sustainable agriculture in emerging markets within the EMEA region. In addition, Matthew Vogel holds advisory and investment roles at Doktar Technologies, focusing on digitalizing agriculture. Previous experience includes serving as Head Strategist for Frontier and Emerging Markets at FIM Partners, where insights drawn from 30 years at the World Bank and leading research roles at Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital enhanced understanding of emerging markets. Matthew Vogel also chaired the Pricing Committee at TCX, advising on currency risk hedging strategies for various development banks. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economics from Instituto Torcuato diTella and a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
