Lam Nguyen currently serves as Chief Scientist and Director at the DoD Cyber Crime Center, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this, Lam held various significant roles including Senior Operations Manager at Mandiant and Lab Director at the Drug Enforcement Administration's Digital Evidence Lab. Lam has extensive experience in digital forensics, having previously been the Director of Digital Forensics at Stroz Friedberg, LLC, and a Lead Forensic Examiner for the Department of Justice. Early career positions include consultant roles at PwC Consulting and TEKsystems, as well as a Programmer Analyst at BDM. Lam holds a degree from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business and graduated from Park View High School.
