Laura Lunsford is a professional in the healthcare field with extensive experience in trauma management and nursing. Currently serving as the Trauma Program Manager at Doctors Hospital of Augusta since May 2021, Lunsford has held various roles including Trauma Injury Prevention Educator and Outreach Specialist at Grand Strand Medical Center from February 2018 to March 2021, and Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator at Doctors Hospital of Augusta from June 2016 to February 2018. Lunsford began as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse at Augusta University Health from February 2011 to April 2016, and earlier worked as a Manager at Glass Concepts from May 2008 to October 2011. Academically, Lunsford holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management at Western Governors University.
