Filipe Cunha started their work experience in 2011 at the company Efacec, where they worked as an Electrical designer and project manager until June 2016. After that, they served as a Sales engineer from July 2016 to October 2018. From November 2018 to July 2021, they worked as an Electrical designer.

In August 2021, Filipe Cunha joined Vestas as a High Voltage Engineer and worked there until July 2023.

Starting from August 2023, they are currently working at Doble Engineering Company as a Transformer Design Engineer.

Filipe Cunha completed their Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - Energy Networks from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, spanning from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, they pursued a program in Data Science & Business Analytics at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education, which took place from 2020 to 2021.
