Simon Ratcliffe is a seasoned professional in venture building and innovation management, currently serving as the Venture Building Director at DNV since December 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing venture building and spin-outs. Previously, Simon held the position of Group Incubation - Portfolio and Operations Manager, managing an incubation unit that determines project funding and strategy. As an Intrepreneur, Simon led a multidisciplinary X-team to develop the Print Passport Service within the additive manufacturing ecosystem. Simon also launched the Pre Approval Screening Service aimed at automating processes. In addition to current roles, Simon is an Advisory Board Member for the Master's program in Innovation Management at Kristiania University College. Prior experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Atkins from 2009 to 2012. Simon holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
