Mario Gomez is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in project management and consultancy. Currently serving as a Principal Consultant at DNV since January 2023, Mario has also held significant roles at Arcadis since May 2013, including Senior Project Manager and Senior Consultant within the Technical Due Diligence Team, as well as Principal Consultant in the Climate and Carbon Advisory Team. As a freelance consultant engineer since January 2011, Mario has managed international renewable energy projects, focusing on wind, solar, and biomass. Previous positions include Project Manager and Office Director at Balfour Beatty and Director of Renewable Energy and Co-generation at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Mario's educational background includes a Master in Energy Efficiency Management from Universitat de Barcelona and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza.
