Jorge A. Suarez is an experienced Program Manager at DNV, where since June 2011, expertise has been applied to manage engineering teams in the energy sector, focusing on technology qualification and certification while mitigating risks in capital projects. Notable projects include the development of hydrogen strategies for oil and gas companies, conducting due diligence for offshore wind structure manufacturers, and certifying advanced subsea drilling systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Subsea Engineer at Technip, where Jorge designed critical subsea systems and supported risk assessments, as well as acting as a Research Assistant at Florida Atlantic University. Jorge A. Suarez holds a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, supplemented by recent studies at Cornell University.
