Atle N Knai is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and corporate banking. Currently serving as Group Chief Credit Officer at DNB since September 2016, Atle oversees Group Credit Risk Management within the DNB Group. Previously, Atle held the role of Head of Division, managing significant non-core assets, and served as CEO of DNB Bank Latvia while also leading the Baltic Division. With a background that includes roles such as General Manager of AS DNB Pank and Head of DNB Bank Estonia, as well as positions at Nordea Bank Norge and DnB NOR, Atle has demonstrated leadership in various high-level banking functions. Atle holds an Executive Board Programme degree from INSEAD and a degree from BI Norwegian Business School.
