Ville Paljakka's work experience includes serving as the VP and Chief Enterprise Architect at DNA Oyj since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Enterprise Architect at DNA Oyj starting from March 2016. Before joining DNA Oyj, Ville worked at Arek Oy as the Chief Architect and Technology Manager from August 2011 to March 2016. During their tenure at Arek Oy, they managed the enterprise architecture, integration competence center services, and identity and access management services. Ville also held various roles at TeliaSonera Finland Oyj, including Development Manager, Product Development Manager, Systems Specialist, and Project Manager, from August 2000 to August 2011. In these roles, they were responsible for digital self-service development, mobile payment system development, project management, and IT architecture.

Ville Paljakka holds an MSc degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained another MSc degree in Electrical engineering & Communications engineering from Technische Universität Wien from 1995 to 1998. Ville also holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from HTL Vienna, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Ville Paljakka also has certifications in CobiT, ITIL v3, Scope Manager (CSM), and TOGAF 9.
