Kevin Amaya is an experienced professional in swine management, currently serving as the Lead Officer at DNA Swine Genetics since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kevin held various positions including Farm Manager at Carthage System - Professional Swine Management LLC, where oversight included a 3,200 head multiplication farm and a 4,300 head off-site nursery. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Manager at High Power Pork, LLC and Sugar River Genetics, LLC, focusing on daily farm operations and animal welfare. Kevin's early career included a Nursery/GDU Manager position and a Manager in Training internship with Regal Springs Tilapia, where market research was conducted. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from Illinois State University, a summer program in Agriculture from ESA, and an Associate of Science from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College.
