David Junod has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. David began their career as an independent artist in 1976, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills. In 2013, they joined PayPal as a Member Technical Staff, working on their Wallet project. Later that year, they became a partner at Duff Lite, where they played a key role in the company's operations until 2017.
In 2015, David joined Owlet Baby Care, contributing as a Senior Software Engineer. David worked on developing the Owlet Baby Monitor, a health monitoring device for infants. During their time at Owlet, they ensured that parents could monitor their child's vital signs, providing peace of mind. In 2017, they briefly worked at Recap Video, a video sharing platform, as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a Xamarin.Forms app for iOS and Android.
David expanded their expertise in firmware engineering by joining Medic.life in 2019 as a Senior Firmware Engineer. David helped revolutionize the health data industry by developing a system that collected patient medical data on vital signs, wellness, and overall health.
In the same year, David joined Horrocks Engineers as a Senior Software Engineer, demonstrating their software development skills in a new industry. David then moved on to Counted, LLC, where they served as a Senior Firmware Engineer for a brief period in 2019.
Currently, David is working at SurfaceInk Product Design & Development as a Firmware Engineer. David collaborates with the team on various product development projects, specializing in native mobile/desktop/firmware client/server design and development using languages such as Swift, C#, C, Objective-C, Java, Xamarin.Forms, Javascript, and ASP.
Throughout their career, David has shown versatility and a passion for innovation, consistently contributing to various fields through their technical skills and expertise.
David Junod attended Sanford-Brown Business College from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained an Associates degree in Systems Analyst Computer and Management.
