Anna Messick

Forensic Case Monitor, Southwest Region at DMH Stallard

Anna Messick currently serves as a Forensic Case Monitor for the Southwest Region at the Department of Behavioral Health, a position held since January 2014, where responsibilities include monitoring individuals court-ordered NGRI in various community settings and coordinating information among courts, law enforcement, and mental health agencies. Prior experience includes roles as a Recreation Therapist at the Southwest Missouri Psych Rehab Center, where responsibilities involved conducting comprehensive recreation therapy assessments and managing a semi-independent apartment program. Anna has also worked as a Clinical Casework Practitioner II at the Nevada Habilitation Center, focusing on assessments and coordinating care among various stakeholders. Additionally, Anna held earlier positions in clinical casework and recreation therapy across multiple facilities. Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Arkansas.
