Ryan Carr is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of machine tool service and repair. Currently serving as a Senior Field Service Engineer at DMG MORI USA since July 2021, Ryan has previously held senior roles at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Makino, where responsibilities included OEM field service and machine tool repair. With a solid background in machine installation, calibration, and repair across various brands such as Nakamura-Tome, Yasda, and Haas, Ryan is certified in Renishaw Laser & Ballbar and trained in UL Electrical Safety. Additional experience includes electro-mechanical systems diagnosis at SLAC and in-house repair of CNC machines at FM Industries, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in both mechanical and electrical service.
