Mateusz Gulczynski is a Research Scientist Aerospace Engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since October 2020, specializing in rocket engine design and operation, particularly in the context of space propulsion and reusable systems. Previous experience includes secondments at AVIO and Politecnico di Milano, focusing on propulsion and structural analysis of reusable liquid rocket engines. Prior to DLR, Mateusz worked as an Aerospace Engineer YGT at ESA/ESTEC, contributing to the Artemis Mission ORION Spacecraft Project and the ISS Station Project. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Metallic Systems and Material Science from The University of Manchester, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ostfalia University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aircraft Engines from Poznan University of Technology.
