Ingmar Mayerbuch is an accomplished Flight Test Instructor at EURO FLIGHT TEST GmbH since March 2023 and serves as the Head of Flight Operations and Experimental Test Pilot at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. since January 2019. Mayerbuch oversees various scientific flight test campaigns, focusing on novel design and exploration concepts, while being accountable for the operations of the DLR research aircraft fleet. With extensive experience as Chief Technical Officer and Deputy Head of Design Organisation at Diamond Aircraft from 2007 to 2018, Mayerbuch has led numerous significant projects including the world's first serial-hybrid electric aircraft. Additional roles include membership in various professional societies and guest lecturing at Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt on aerospace engineering. Mayerbuch's education includes degrees from the Technical University of Munich and the National Test Pilot School.
