Gamze Akarsu possesses a diverse background in environmental finance and biodiversity risk management, having held significant roles at prominent organizations. At DLL, Gamze Akarsu focuses on Nature & Biodiversity Risk. Previously, at UNDP, roles included Advisor in Knowledge Management for the Biodiversity Finance Initiative and Environmental Finance Associate. Gamze Akarsu also contributed to GIZ GmbH as part of the More Income and Employment in Rural Areas of Malawi project, along with work in risk management and sustainable sourcing. Additional experience includes serving as a Global Energy Transition Researcher at Budapest University of Technology and Economics and as a Sustainable Energy Researcher at UNDP.
