Mariel Janette Rivera Vargas is an experienced professional in the field of education and early childhood development. Currently serving as a Reviewer at DLH Corporation since October 2023, Mariel has held various roles at the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, including Professional Development Manager and Professional Development Coordinator. Previous positions also include Director of Operations at Little Steps Academy and Music Teacher at Kids & Company. Mariel began a career in education as a Building Sub Teacher and Music Teacher with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Mariel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Universidad de Puerto Rico, a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Valencia College.
