Rutger Stoop is an experienced attorney-at-law currently working at DLA Piper since August 2022. Stoop actively participates in professional organizations, serving as a member of the Intellectual Property, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Commission of AIJA since June 2021 and as a member of the Legislation Committee of the Beneluxvereniging voor Merken- en Modellenrecht since July 2018. Stoop previously held various positions at Brinkhof N.V., progressing from junior associate to senior associate between May 2013 and August 2022. Stoop also contributed as the Chairman of the Young Members Committee for AIPPI from March 2017 to April 2022, organizing events for young IP professionals. In addition to professional roles, Stoop served on the Advisory Board and as Chairman of the Nijmegen Students Tennis Association Slow from September 2007 to September 2013. Stoop's educational background includes a Master of Science in Corporate Law and a Bachelor of Science in Dutch Law from Radboud University.
