Robin Theuns is an experienced Attorney at Law and Legal Director specializing in international and transactional tax at DLA Piper in Amsterdam since May 2018. This role follows a series of secondee positions in New York City and Luxembourg, where Robin provided expert advice on EU and international tax matters for multinational enterprises and private equity funds. Prior experience includes serving as Tax Counsel during a secondment to Rituals and working as a Tax Lawyer at Loyens & Loeff, where responsibilities encompassed international tax services and tax controversy. Additional internships in tax-related fields demonstrate a strong foundation in litigation and research. Robin holds a degree from Leiden University and is registered with the Dutch Bar Association and the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers. Ongoing education is pursued at the International Tax Center Leiden.
