Oliver Wright currently serves as a Partner at DLA Piper since January 2023. Prior to this role, Oliver was a Partner in the Mining & Metals sector at White & Case LLP from April 2019 to January 2023. Oliver's extensive legal career includes positions as General Counsel at Yahsat from September 2017 to December 2018 and Senior Legal Counsel at Mubadala from January 2011 to December 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from December 2007 to December 2010 and as a Lawyer at Minter Ellison from February 2005 to November 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)(Hons.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Bond University, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Griffith University. Oliver completed secondary education at Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) from 1996 to 2000.
