Gijs Luyt is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in real estate, M&A, and corporate law. Currently serving as Legal Counsel a.i. at DLA Piper since September 2024, Gijs has also provided independent legal counsel since 2018, assisting clients with transactions and compliance in the Netherlands. Previous positions include Legal Counsel a.i. roles at Ecorus and Allianz Partners, as well as a Business Unit Manager position at VISTRA. Gijs began a legal career at Houthoff, specializing in property and finance transactions, after completing education at Utrecht University and Grotius Academie.
