Daniel Street is currently a Partner at DLA Piper since July 2023, previously serving as a Senior Associate at Chapman Tripp from November 2008 to June 2023. Specializing in commercial dispute resolution, regulatory investigations, and professional liability matters, Daniel has extensive experience with contract disputes, including issues involving company directors, auditors, and regulatory cases with various New Zealand authorities. Prior roles include Senior Solicitor, where Daniel specialized in competition law and commercial disputes, and Solicitor in the Auckland litigation team. Daniel began the legal career as a Law Clerk and had a secondment at Slaughter and May's competition team. Academic qualifications include a BA(Hons) in Politics and an LLB from The University of Auckland, alongside a BA/LLB in Politics from the University of Otago.
