Aline Kiers is a seasoned financial regulatory lawyer and lecturer with extensive experience in various reputable firms. Currently serving as a lecturer at Law Firm School and holding the position of Senior Associate at DLA Piper since July 2018, Kiers has also worked as regulatory counsel at Adyen and as legal counsel for AIG in the Netherlands. Prior to these roles, Kiers was an associate at Houthoff, focusing on employment, pensions, and investment management law. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the same institution, as well as ongoing studies at Sciences Po.
