Mirah Rangaswami, CPA, serves as the Director of Accounting at MainStreet, overseeing efforts to empower small businesses through R&D tax credits since August 2021. Previously, Mirah held the role of Accounting Consultant at Divvy Homes for a brief period in 2021, and prior to that, acted as Director of Accounting at Aura from October 2016 to April 2021, contributing to financial inclusion through affordable lending solutions. Mirah's early career includes experience as an Audit Associate at Heinfeld, Meech & Co., P.C., where engagement leadership encompassed various public sector and nonprofit audits, along with training associates. Earlier internships at Mayo Clinic, Hirsch and Shah CPAs, LLC, and Touchstone Behavioral Health provided foundational skills in research finance, tax preparation, and accounting support. Mirah's academic credentials include two master's degrees from the University of San Diego and a bachelor's degree in Accounting from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
