Yonas Tesfaye is an experienced engineering professional currently working at Distyl AI since September 2023. Previously, Yonas served as Partner and Data Science Lead at Point72 Hyperscale from August 2019 to August 2023, where leadership was provided to a team focused on developing and deploying machine learning solutions for portfolio companies. Prior to that, Yonas worked at Apple as a Software Engineering Manager from May 2017 to July 2019, leading an NLP team for Siri's Query Understanding. Additional roles include Lab41 Team Lead at In-Q-Tel, Senior Data Engineer at Think Big (a Teradata Company), and Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Northrop Grumman Space Technology.
