Sonia Shukla currently serves as the Vice Chair of the ACAB for the DC Bar Litigation Community and has held the position of Arbitrator with the DC Bar since January 2019. With extensive experience in mediation, Sonia has been a Mediator at Tribeca Mediation LLC since March 2010, focusing on conflict management and facilitation, and holds the role of Mediator for the State's Attorney's Office, addressing criminal and juvenile criminal cases, along with mediating small claims and collections at the District of Columbia Superior Court since May 2013. Additionally, as the Lead Mediator for day-of-trial proceedings at the District Court of Maryland since February 2015, Sonia has demonstrated expertise in both small and large claims mediation. Previous experience includes serving as the Assistant Business Manager at IGES from July 2011 to 2015. Sonia earned an MBA from George Mason University and holds a B.A. in Film from UC Irvine, along with additional educational experiences from New York University, Media Bistro, UCLA, and Università per Stranieri di Siena.
