Schranda Battle, Ed.S., serves as a School Leader at Distinctive Schools since August 2019, bringing extensive experience in educational leadership. Previously, Schranda held the position of High School Principal at Harper Woods High School from October 2014 to March 2022 and served as Supervisor of Special Education at Futures Education from January 2013 to August 2014. With a focus on reforming special education, Schranda has worked to ensure compliance, address parent concerns, facilitate staff development, and support educators in meeting student needs. Earlier roles include Special Education Coordinator at Detroit Leadership Academy and various leadership positions in other educational institutions, complemented by a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in K-12 Educational Leadership from Walden University and an Ed.S. in Education, General Supervision & Administration from Wayne State University.
