Mark Kobek is currently serving as the MTSS Coordinator at Distinctive Schools since July 2023 and has also been a Teacher Coach with Teachers Supporting Teachers since August 2022. Previous experience includes roles as an Instructional Coach at Chicago International Charter School and Director of Coaching and Data Strategy at EPIC Academy, where Mark also contributed as a Science Team Leader, AP Environmental Science Teacher, and Environmental Science Teacher. In addition, Mark held positions such as Outreach Manager and Teacher Liaison at Teachers Supporting Teachers, AP Science Teacher and Varsity Athletics Coach at Morgan Park Academy, and After School Science Program Coordinator at Illinois State University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Space Science Education from Illinois State University. Mark's career began as a Student Teacher at Theodore Roosevelt High School and an Aquatics Specialist at Petco.
