John Hayward has had a long and successful career in the aerospace and defense industry. John is currently the CEO of Disti, a company that provides simulators and services for military and civilian customers. John has also served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Government Solutions business at TRU Simulation + Training, a Textron company. In this role, they were responsible for new business and operational execution for the Government Solutions operating unit. Prior to that, they were the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Textron Systems' Support Solutions business unit, where they were responsible for P&L and growth of the business. John has also held positions as the Director of Training Systems & Services at AAI Corporation and Engineering Manager at L-3. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated their ability to successfully lead and grow businesses in the aerospace and defense industry.

John Hayward's educational career includes completing the Textron Senior Executive Leadership Program in Software Engineering from Duke University, the Textron Executive Leadership Program in Electrical Engineering from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Masters Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland. John also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The Catholic University of America and is certified as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
