Sixuan L. is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at The Walt Disney Company since September 2024, Sixuan previously held the position of Director of Engineering at GIPHY, where responsibilities included leading the Developer Division and driving the development of revenue-generating products. Prior to that, Sixuan worked as an Engineering Manager at Meta, overseeing the integration of GIPHY content into broader distribution networks, which followed the acquisition of GIPHY. Sixuan began the professional journey at GIPHY as a Senior Software Engineer, transitioning from a monolithic to a microservices architecture. Early career stages included significant roles in software engineering at delivery.com and My Sports Dreams. Sixuan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Dalian Maritime University.
