Julie Merges serves as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Talent Acquisition at The Walt Disney Company, a position held since November 2018. Prior to this role, Merges held various human resources leadership positions, including VP of Human Resources for both corporate and studio divisions at Disney, Head of Human Resources at Amazon Los Angeles, and Chief People Officer at Edmunds. Merges’ extensive experience in talent management and organizational development also includes senior roles at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Health Net, as well as consulting at Towers Watson. Merges holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
