Service Support Specialist – Hobart, IN DISHER is partnering with a leading medium-sized technology company with its own solutions and products consisting of mobile transport robots for industrial material handling environments. As the Service Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintenance level training and equipment support after customer acceptance.

What you will get to do:

• Repair, and service electronic and mechanical robotic systems both onsite and offsite.
• Assemble and electrically commission driverless transport systems and picking systems.
• Provide temporary shift support after commissioning at customer sites.
• Analyze and correct errors and malfunctions in automated systems.
• Communicate repair needs effectively to project managers and after-sales teams.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on robotic systems.
• Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.

What will make you successful:

• Experience with electronics, automated systems, and AGVs is a plus.
• Comfortable in a training environment, using Power Point to give small group instruction.
• Ability to understand and use equipment wiring diagrams for effective troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using Windows and Windows applications (Office 365).
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software environments.
• Certification in robotics or a related field is an advantage.
• Valid US driver’s license for travel outside the home state.
• Must pass a drug screening.
