Julia Mott is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Director of Admissions at Discovery Health Sciences Schools since June 2015, overseeing the school admissions process for multiple campuses. Mott also founded and coaches the varsity girls soccer program at Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy. Previously, Mott held roles as a social studies teacher and department head, teaching a range of subjects including AP courses, at both Discovery Health Sciences Schools and InspireNOLA Charter Schools. Mott's early career included a graduate assistantship at the University of New Orleans focused on early literacy interventions, as well as managerial positions at Barnes & Noble, Inc. Julia Mott earned a B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University and an M.A. in Education from the University of New Orleans.
