Sonya Dennis-Javonti is an experienced professional with a diverse background in sales coordination and administrative support. Currently serving as a Sales Coordinator at DISCOVERY Children's Museum since November 2019, Sonya previously held various roles at KLAS TV over an 11-year period, including Sales Assistant and Administrative Assistant. Prior to KLAS TV, Sonya worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant at Concentra for a short time, gaining significant experience in customer service and patient interactions. Additionally, Sonya served as Secretary for the Las Vegas Association of Black Journalists and has a solid foundation in sales from positions at KVBC-TV and KVVU TV. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and has completed education at the Pima Medical Institute and the University of Phoenix.
