Michelle Nguyen is a Scientist II in R&D at Eurofins DiscoverX since May 2022, focusing on assay design for target protein degradation and PROTACS in the SH2 domain, while also contributing to scientific writing and presentations for new assay panels. Additionally, Michelle serves as a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University, teaching introductory and organic chemistry to undergraduates. Previous experience includes working as a Manufacturing Associate at Amgen, where skills in upstream and downstream processes, cell culture techniques, and protein purification were developed, as well as a Bioprocessing Intern at Keck Graduate Institute and a Quality Control Technician at Ameditech, Inc. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from California State University Channel Islands and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry at San Diego State University.
