Michelle Webster, CRCM, is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Compliance Advisor at Discover Financial Services since April 2024, Michelle previously held the position of Compliance and Risk Lead at USAA from 2020 to October 2024. Prior roles include Consumer Banking and Lending Compliance Manager and Senior Consumer Lending Compliance Consultant at U.S. Bank (2015-2020), Lending Compliance Officer at First Federal Savings Bank (2013-2015), and Compliance & BSA Officer at UT Federal Credit Union (2007-2013). Michelle also has a background in education as a German Teacher at Samstag Schule Knoxville (2011-2012) and held various roles at UT Federal Credit Union from 2000 to 2004. Michelle holds a Master of Arts in German from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has completed the Kentucky Bankers Association Lending Compliance School, along with a Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung from the Goethe Institut.
