Carla V. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and operations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Non-Financial Risk at Northern Trust Corporation since August 2015, Carla has previously held roles as Senior Vice President for Operational Risk and Head of Model Governance at the same organization. Prior to Northern Trust, Carla worked at Raymond James as Manager of Model Risk Management and at KPMG US in Regulatory Risk Consulting. Carla's background also includes a tenure as a Bank Examiner with the Federal Reserve System and as Vice President of Investor Relations in the private equity sector. Carla V. holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Chico.
