Tony, also known as "Professor" Sharper, has a diverse and extensive work history in the music industry. Tony aka " Professor" started their career in 1979 as a drummer musician for The Soul Stirrers in Chicago, which earned him recognition in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Throughout the early 1980s, they worked as a professional musician for various bands, including the Love Peace and Happiness R&B Band and Allied World R&B Band. In 1982, Tony founded their own band called Love Peace and Happiness and served as a musician, leader, and co-lead vocal until 1984. Tony aka " Professor" also worked as a producer, musician, and lead/background vocalist at Sundown Studio during this time. In 1984, they briefly held the role of Senior Vice President at a company listed as "S." From 1981 to 2012, Tony performed professionally with several notable groups such as The Highway Que 'C'S, The Brooklyn Allstars, and The Black Experience. Tony aka " Professor" also served as a Senior Vice President at D&W Records Label and was the Chairman of the Board Founder at Sharp Records Inc. and Sharper Brothers Inc. From 2006 to present, Tony has been involved with Sharp Records Inc. and Sharper Brothers Records Inc., where they held various roles such as Senior Producer, Musician, Recording Artist, Co-Band Leader, and Executive Chairman. In 2008, Tony founded Sharp Records Inc. and served as the Founder, Chairman, Recording Artist, and Producer. Tony aka " Professor" later became the President and Founder of the same company in 2015. Tony Sharper, also known as "Professor" Sharper, has a diverse education history. In 1984, they attended The Music Business Institute, where they studied The Music Business for a brief period of time. Subsequently, in the same year, they enrolled in Greenville Technical College and obtained a radio third class permit. In 1985, Tony attended the Music Business Institute in Atlanta to further their knowledge in Music Business. Tony aka " Professor" also acquired an additional radio permit third class during the same year at Greenville Technical College.
Alongside their educational accomplishments, Tony has received several certifications. In 1996, they were honored with the ATLANTA 1996 CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC BRICK CERTIFICATE BEAR SHARPER NAME in recognition of their contributions to the 1996 Olympic Games. In 2009, Tony was recognized as an honored member of executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs by Cambridge Who's Who. Additionally, they were bestowed with the National Leadership Award as an Honorary Co-Chairman of the Business Advisory Council by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
