Claudia Henry Dobbins BSN, RN, CCRN is a legal professional with a strong background in nursing and law. Currently serving as a Pro Bono Scholar at Disability Rights New York since March 2022, Claudia assists individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury in legal matters. Claudia is also a Legal Writing Fellow at Syracuse University College of Law, contributing to the development of the "Legal Writer's Toolkit." As a JD Candidate, previous experiences include serving as a Law Clerk at the United States Attorneys' Offices and a Law Student Extern at both the Ontario County District Attorney's Office and SUNY Upstate University Hospital, where Claudia focused on legal research and writing in various legal contexts. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Claudia worked as a registered nurse in pediatric and medical ICUs at Children's National Hospital and State University of New York Upstate Medical University. Claudia earned a Doctor of Law from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misericordia University.
