David McCoy is an experienced operations and construction manager with a strong background in natural gas operations and utility services. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Directional Services, Inc. since 2019, David oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, safety, and training for the Natural Gas Operations Division. Previously, David held the position of Construction Manager/UGE at MasTec Utility Services, where responsibilities included scheduling and coordinating underground power distribution installations for Duke Energy. A long tenure at Distribution Construction, LLC, spanned from 2000 to 2017, culminating in the role of Area Superintendent/Wilmington Regional Manager, where oversight included contractor operations and training across multiple counties. David’s career began in the utilities sector as a horizontal directional drilling operator and foreman. Prior military service includes a four-year enlistment in the US Army as a Parachute Rigger/Heavy Delivery with an honorable discharge.
