Maria Sargent, CISSP, is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in both civilian and military roles. Currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Direct Supply since June 2022, Maria specializes in designing comprehensive security systems and contributing to vulnerability and threat management initiatives. With a longstanding commitment to the Kansas Air National Guard, Maria has held various positions including First Sergeant of the 177th Information Aggressor Squadron and Cyber Systems Operations Specialist at the 184th Intelligence Support Squadron, where leadership in personnel matters and mentorship of junior operators were key responsibilities. Previous experiences include Senior IT Security Engineer at OU Health, IT Security Engineer/Manager at INTRUST Bank, and technical roles providing critical support to Air National Guard units.
