James Schmidt is an experienced safety management professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Safety Manager at Diproinduca since November 2020, James oversees the Safety Department. Previously, James held the position of Safety Director at Southland Steel Fabricators, Inc., where all safety operations in steel fabrication were managed from June 2016 to August 2020. Prior roles include Safety Coordinator at Airgas On-Site Safety Services, Safety Manager at RMT, and Safety Manager at Chesapeake Energy, focusing on safety management in various sectors, including natural gas and renewable energy. James also served in the United States Marine Corps for over a decade, specializing in tank operations and reconnaissance. Academically, James holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business from Indiana University Southeast and an Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Louisiana State University.
