Manav Divekar is an Associate Project Engineer at Dio Medical since July 2023, focusing on the design and development of instruments and implants utilizing Creo PTC (Pro/E) and maintaining Design History Files (DHF). Previously, Divekar served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Orthopedic Biomechanics Lab at Drexel University from September 2021 to July 2023, engaging in finite element modeling of Early Onset Scoliosis using Ansys ICEM-CFD and Hypermesh, and also contributed as a Research Volunteer on 3D reconstruction and segmenting of anatomical structures from CT images. Divekar gained clinical research experience as a Graduate Co-op at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2022, specializing in 3D segmentation of cardiac CT/MRI images for congenital heart defects, and completed an internship at Bhatia Hospital Tardeo in 2019. Divekar holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vidyalankar Institute Of Technology.
