Carlos Javier Calderon Merino serves as the Gerente de Gobierno de Información y Calidad de Datos at Diners Club del Ecuador since October 2020, focusing on data governance and quality management. Previously, Carlos held various key positions including Gerente de Gobierno de Información y Calidad de Datos at Banco Internacional Ecuador, where Carlos designed the information governance framework, and Gerente de Inteligenia de Negocios e Investigación de Mercado y Competencia at Corporacion Nacional de Telecomunicaciones. As a co-founder and Vicepresidente de Servicios of DAMA Capítulo Ecuador, Carlos has contributed significantly to the data management landscape. Carlos holds a Master's in Telecommunications Business from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and various other degrees related to management and finance from distinguished institutions.
