Andrew Smith is an experienced compliance and audit professional with a robust background in governance and risk management. Currently serving as a Compliance Governance & Oversight Specialist at Diligenta since September 2017, Andrew provides compliance advice for the outsourced Aviva account while ensuring regulatory oversight. Concurrently, Andrew holds the position of Internal Audit Manager at Sanlam, responsible for executing the annual audit plan for wealth and asset management companies in the UK and Ireland. Previous roles include Compliance Monitoring Manager and Senior Internal Auditor at Aviva, as well as Risk Manager and Senior Auditor at Lloyds Banking Group, where Andrew focused on risk management activities and internal audits across various financial sectors. Andrew's foundational education was completed at Whitefield School in Bristol.
