Richard Daniel, MBA, PMP has extensive work experience in executive and leadership roles in the communications and technology industry. Richard is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Digital Turbine, where they provide strategic leadership and oversees the engineering department. Prior to this, Richard worked as an Energy, Water, Communications Technology and Transformation Advisor, utilizing their expertise in R&D and engineering to drive innovation and team building.

From 2009 to 2021, Richard served as the Vice President of Global R&D at Sensus, where they led an international team in developing and launching IoT devices for the utility market. Richard also directed global quality and standards across power utility offerings.

Before Sensus, Richard held various roles at Nortel from 1990 to 2010. As the Sr. Director in the CTO Office, they drove the development of high-capacity network products and managed a diverse global team. Richard also served as the Sr. Director of R&D Network Solutions, where they successfully managed multiple projects and improved product quality. Additionally, Richard started their career at Nortel as a Research and Development Manager.

Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving successful outcomes.

Richard Daniel, MBA, PMP, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Richard also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the North Carolina State University - College of Management. In addition to their formal education, Richard has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2008. Richard has also received a Lean Six Sigma certification from an internal corporate certification program in December 2006.
