Steve Scott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in portfolio development and management within the life sciences and scientific research sectors. As the Director of Portfolio Development at Digital Science since January 2010, Steve has played a crucial role in guiding early-stage startups through product validation and growth. In addition to this role, Steve serves as a board member and observer for several companies, including Strateos, Overleaf, Writefull, Scismic, and formerly Gigantum, where strategic insights have been provided to advance their missions. Steve's past experience also includes leading BioData Ltd. as interim CEO and contributing as a mentor to various organizations, significantly impacting their operational strategies and product development. Steve holds a BA in Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University and a Mini MBA from the University of Cambridge.
